No, there is no entrance fee; however, a donation is appreciated for any fresh produce picked at the Gardens.
How do I volunteer to work at the Gardens?
Complete the volunteer application form and submit it to gardenmanager@bbfg.org or in person at the Gardens at 62 Park St., Ripley.
We are located at 62 Park St., Ripley, ON N0G 2R0 at the south end of town opposite the soccer fields.
Yes, we welcome group tours when scheduled prior to your visit. Contact the Coordinator at gardenmanager@bbfg.org to book a tour.
What kind of plants are grown at the Gardens?
Sustainable, organic food plants of the rare, endangered and heirloom varieties are grown. Every plant in the garden is edible!
Can I bring my dog to the Gardens?
Because of health concerns, dogs are not allowed in the Gardens. There are two walking trails within close proximity to the Gardens where you can exercise your dog before or after your visit.
Are there picnic facilities at the Gardens?
The best place for a picnic near the Gardens is at Lewis Park. There are picnic tables, a splash pad, a playground for children and washroom facilities. Lewis Park is located at the corner of Huron and Queen Streets in downtown Ripley.
Do you offer programs for children?
Yes, we have programs for children. Contact the Coordinator at gardenmanager@bbfg.org for more information.
