Fanshawe College Partnership

On October 21st, 2016, 44 second-year landscape design students from Fanshawe College in London, descended on the Bruce Botanical Food Gardens for their second year studio project. The students prepared design proposals for five different areas of the Gardens then researched heirloom, rare and endangered food varieties, rotation plans, plant plan, seed-sourcing, and master plan development. The students' designs have been woven together and blended into the 2017 BBFG garden design.

The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) provided the funding for the Fanshawe students to travel to the food gardens.
